# Orchestration

How I use orchestration in Codex for substantial work and parallel tasks.

I use this [orchestration skill](https://github.com/jehlaniluciano/skills/blob/main/orchestrate/SKILL.md) to split substantial work among agents, combine their results, and check the final changes.

## 01 Coordinate

Split independent work. Keep small or tightly connected tasks with one agent.

## 02 Delegate

GPT-6.1 Sol · low, medium, or high

Give each agent a clear task, file ownership, and completion conditions.

- **Low:** Explicit tasks, searches, and mechanical checks.
- **Medium:** Connected decisions, implementation, and known failures.
- **High:** Unresolved questions, competing causes, and complex interactions.

Use the lowest sufficient effort. Read-only work can still require high effort.

## 03 Combine and verify

Wait for relevant edits to finish. Combine results, resolve conflicts, and run required checks.

## 04 Review independently

- A separate reviewer checks actual changes, requirements, regressions, and verification evidence.
- The coordinator resolves confirmed findings and repeats affected checks.
- The reviewer checks corrections before completion.
